Another, more affordable hybrid camcorder makes it's way onto Sony's starting lineup of hard disk camcorders. Along with with ability to record up to 41 hours (LP mode) on it's 40GB hard drive, the DCR-SR220 has Sony face detection technology that can identify and properly focus on up to eight faces in the scene.

It's 4 megapixel still camera capability can also shoot in dual record mode, but at a slightly less 3MP resolution.
