Great camera with problems.
( - 7/17/06)When the camera is working, it's got a great picture. But, just like some have said here, I am experiencing the same problem with tapes not working correctly. For me, when I try to play or rewind a tape, the camera stops and says to eject the tape. Now, it's starting to have a hitch on the ejection process, too. It needs to be fixed. I am not a heavy user of the camera, either, so this is not due to excess (or even mild) use. The other canon video camera I had also started giving me problems with the motor and ejection etc. A friend of mine who had the same camera had the exact same problems. so.... if Canon is going to make this sort of crap product, then I'd have to say go buy a Sony camera. I have owned nothing but Canon cameras from day one. But, I may....no, I WILL buy Sony products from now on.
If you're in the market for a 3 CCD camera, it's probably best to go with Sony. I haven't read their reviews, but it can't be as bad as Canon's.
