To delicate

I have 6 of the GL 2 and everyone has been in for repairs at least once at a cost of $958 each time to fix the fire wirer connection. The connection is to fragile plug the dv cable in a couple of times and then it stops working. Will not buy anymore of these cameras. They just don't hold up.
