why isn't my GL2 focusing?

I put on a wide angle lens and when I took it off the GL2 I couldn't get the camera to focus. Does anyone know why?

Hey, Fez.
The wide angle lens should not have anything mechanically to do with the GL2 built-in lens. This is the first time I have ever heard about a problem like this.

Your question does not seem to be fully described, do you mean it does not focus at all, or it won't focus in auto mode, or the lens does not give a focused clear picture.

1) If its not auto focusing, then make sure you have auto focus on.
2) If its not focusing because the lens focus is stuck/ceased, then you will need to send your camcorder to Canon for repairs.
3) If the focus ring/lens is working in both manual or auto mode, but the lens focus is not giving you a clear picture, then you might have the optical elements out of alignment and the lens will need to repaired.

Good Luck!
