What camcorder can accomodate a wireless or hard wired lavalier microphone?

I am looking for a camcorder so I can start doing some minor, simple video editing on my home computer.
I have the computer and software--now I need the camera.
I cannot find a camcorder that comes with, or even accomodates a seperate lavalier microphone so I can mic people and not have to just use the nat sound mic that comes on all camcorders. Obviously I'm looking for better, clearer, more direct audio if I'm "interviewing" people.

Canon's XL2 and GL2 line have external microphone jacks. In fact, even several of the lower category camcorders, like the ZR700. Even the ZR60 has it. It's a very popular feature. And the camera doesn't really care what the external audio source is, whether hard wire or wireless (you'll need a receiver that plugs into the camera). If you have any doubt, bring a lav mic with you to a store and try it out. You'll see pretty quickly which cameras do and do not work effectively.

Alot just depends on your budget, your needs, etc.
