would I be able to import and edit videos taken with the HV20 on Adobe Premiere Pro CS3 (on my Mac)?

I am considering getting this camcorder (it will be my first), and I plan to edit my videos using Adobe Premiere Pro CS3 for Mac.

Absolutely! The beauty of the MAC and Canon together is that Canon has made it a point to make sure their cameras are MAC compatible. And since this is a miniDV camera, you'll have pure firewire connectivity to capture with. Excellent.

Oh, awesome, so would I be able to import it to my computer in a format that Mac programs would support? i.e. .mov, mpeg-2, etc.
