Can my laptop card reader read files from an SDHC card?

I know my laptop can read files from an SD card.. I've tried an SD card from a digital still camera and it works fine but what about SDHC cards? Any known issues? Do I need a special card reader? Thanks.

That depends on your laptop. Which one is it? How old is it? If you bought it this year or the last half of 08, you should be fine.

It's a Dell Studio 15, got it end of March this year. So I guess I'm safe to assume it can read SDHC cards right?
