No matter what I do, I can't get the video files I shot uploaded to my Mac. Someone help!

My video camera just won't upload the video files to my mac. I am totally at a loss. HELP!

Mac Intel or power pc? OSX version? iMovie? Some details will help troubleshoot for you. If your compatible device has both a USB and FireWire port, you will only need to use the USB port to work most likely.
