Has anyone tried this camera with a MacBook?

I'm a cheer coach and I'm very interested in this camera to record their performances. I have a MacBook, and am nervous about the compatability to put it on to my computer to then make DVDs of all the performances.

Does anyone know anything about this that they could help me with? I really like this camera, but I don't want to purchase something that won't work. It says that the still pictures will work, but I'm nevous about iMovie, etc.

Double check here or here. Unfortunately, neither mentions the HF20. It may come down to how current your OS is and if you use an intel mac platform. Then again, since you're recording on a flash card anyway, you can use a USB card reader and its' a simple drag and drop onto the desktop. From there, iMovie 09 supports AVCHD, which is the format Canon uses.
