How easy is it to bring the video you shoot with this camera int Final Cut Pro?

I use Final Cut Pro for editing video. I normally record onto a harddrive attached to my JVC HD 200. I can easily transfer the files into FCP from the hard drive. I want to use a smaller consumer camera for some tight-space shooting, but I need to know if transfering the video from this small camera will be easy. If not, I would like to know what similar small camera would have the easiest transfer process. Just FYI, I would also like to know if this camera has an input for a separate microphone. Thanks so much!

If you're version of FCP supports AVCHD, you're good to go. If not, you'll need to transcode the video to a format your version of FCP supports. According to this thread it will, but you really want to be sure you're using the fastest cards you can afford.

And this Canon thread outlines how to set it up to work with Final Cut Studio and by extention, FCP.
