Along with the costlier HG21, the HG20 is a replacement for Canon's older HG10 model. The increased bitrate is all the rave, but this capable camera also has a roomy 60GB hard-drive and a 12x optical zoom. If high-definition is your gauge, the HG20 records in full 1920 x 1080 HD.
