Does the Vixia HV40 have time-lapse capability?

I want to be able to film a time-lapse video clip of an artist making something...is this possible with the HV40?

Unfortunately, there's not a lot out there on it. Canon doesn't even have the manual online yet. But be patient. Details will leak out over time. But for now, it's just too new. What I would recommend is that until the supporting documentation makes it online, that you give Canon Tech Support a call. They'll be able to tell you pretty quickly.

Thanks! I'm just trying to find any Canon video camera with interval recording!!! It's harder than it sounds. I know the GL2 does, but had one Canon Tech try and tell me it didn't! She was wrong. At any rate, I'll keep trying:)
