Screen Blackout

I bought my ZR70 about two years ago. Used recorded 5 full 60 mins cassettes with it. It started showing some some white and black lines, on and of screen. I planned to record my children's presentation on stage in school. At the very moment I was to record them on stage the screen went black. I felt like smashing the dam mass. After the programme other parents came congratulating me for the performance of my two daughters. I have decided to keep away the thing to avoid reminding of that terrible incidence. Is there someone out there that will like to buy the junk for parts or recycling?
