May have issues with blue screens...

I am not sure if this is a camera defect or tape manufacturer defect. It worked fine with exceptional treatment in care and comfurt. (those who are obsesive like me about my electronics know what i mean) Than one day I took it out of its KUSH enviorment and just simply turned it on and pressed play in the VCR mode. Now a tape that looked fine before now has blue screen beams going horizontal, top to bottom. So you only see "beams" of the real video. Like I said it may be a camera defect and it may not. Just ask at the store you go to if they have any issues and why the "next model" was created....there is usually a reason. Phillips seems to have alot reasons too.
