See no Evil

Contemplating buying this camera however, when I switch button to "Play" (VCR) I can see what is on the tape and card. When I switch the button to "Camera", I don't see any images. Buyer can't remember how to make images show to take still pictures.

It has to be on VCR to play. Camera is purely for recording.
