My beef with conventional video lights is that they tend to be underpowered as they operate off the camcorder power supply. The Kaiser DigiNova LED Video Light is an option as it uses bright, yet low power LEDs to light the subject, and it uses it's own AA battery power. There's also the "CameraBright X1," another LED camera option.

It has a light shoe, if that's what you're asking. But not a flash.

does the ZR70 make a snap shop type flash for this camera????????

No. It does not have a flash style hot shoe which would activate a flash for shooting stills. THe shoe is for holding a video light only.
