Though small, Pure Digital's series of Flip camcorders have made big waves, ushering in a new trend in portable video. The UltraHD is the latest model, offering expanded features like eight gigabytes of on-board flash memory, doubling the potential recording time to two hours. It also features a larger, two inch LCD display for easier previewing and reviewing. Though it still lacks optical zoom and the ability to capture still images, the simple interface and affordable high-definition video is enough to make the UltraHD a very appealing option for casual shooters.
