The GZ-HD10 did not impress us with its flat image quality, making every scene feel washed out and lifeless. Stripping down the features of the GZ-HD40 and the GZ-HD30, JVC offers the GZ-HD10 for consumers looking for an entry-level camcorder. While the GZ-HD10 records in HD, it cannot record in full (1920 x 1080) HD, unlike its brethren. But as a small, portable, entry-level camcorder, the GZ-HD10 gets the job done.
