Editors' Comments
Like its little brother the SDR-H18, the Panasonic SDR-H200 offers an internal 30GB hard drive, allowing for up to 27 hours of continuous shooting. Unlike the SDR-H18, it features a 3.1-megapixel 3CCD imaging system for superior image resolution, color reproduction, and low light performance. Aside from that difference, things are much the same: an impressive 10x optical zoom lens with Panasonic's usual Optical Image Stabilization (O.I.S.) system, a 2.7-inch widescreen LCD display, and several protective measures for the hard drive in case of accidental drops. This is a wise choice for shooters-on-the-go who are not yet ready to jump into the HD end of the pool.
