Can I drag/copy video clips from my Mac to the Flip?

Must they be converted from .mov to .avi, etc?

You want to put clips onto the Flip? I don't think the Flip has that capability, frankly. And if you have a new mac, you have compatibility issues as it is.

You may be about to get around it with Quicktime Pro, but to import into the Flip? I'm thinking no.

This seems to be a hunch rather than an answer, and as I am not using iMovie 8, the link about the iMovie 8 compatability problem is not relevant to my problem.

Well, since you didn't give us much in the way of detail here, I was left to guess your mac was new. But I still don't believe that the Clip is two way device. It'll only go one way, IIRC.
