How can you get the footage you shot in HD?

I know the footage that you record with Samsung H100 gets converted to H.264. How can I get the files as HD and not H.264?

It IS HD. Just a flavor of HD. The trick is, if your editor supports it. And that depends on a few things. But if you absolutely have to convert it, try MPEG Streamclip.
