Samsung is eager to get into the pocket camcorder market, and the HMX-U10 is a direct challenge to gadgets like the Kodak Zx1 or the Flip Ultra. Samsung tries to top both by surpassing their 720p video recording with full 1080p video and a 10-megapixel sensor capable of capturing still photos. The U10 records directly to SecureDigital (SD/SDHC) memory cards and has a reasonable 2.0-inch LCD display.
