Sanyo is marketing the new Xacti HD1010 for both the camcorder and digital camera crowd. The camcorder can take video in the highest quality (1920 x 1080) HD, and since the HD1010 relies on memory cards, users can control how much space they have. In addition, with the ability to take 8-megapixel still images, the HD1010 is a perfectly serviceable camera.
