Sony Customer is service horrible and expensive!
(Derek - 12/13/07)I bought into the Sony Hype,but after numerous failure's I must say "my Sony buying days are over!" I own a Sony laptop that has been in for service twice with an outrageous flat rate fee of repair, 3 digital cameras with all defective Sony components bad lens on one DSC-W1, battery door spring and latch on another DSC-10 I think , LCD on the other one of the first affordable digital Sony cameras all bad out of warranty and flat rate not worth it!, granted purchased over the past several years. .
Now my last purchase was a DVD403 handycam- zoom in/out is not working 2 months out of warranty $300+ flat rate fee!!!
I refuse-I have since purchased several Nikons L4,L11,L6 I think and my newest baby-D40X. Nikon has been awesome.
Bye Bye Sony! You got enough of my money!
