DCR-SR80 with Mac
(Larry - 7/8/07)Very problematic, however if you set up as HDD the camcorder icon will show up on Mac desktop. Using Toast Titanium I was able to drag the icon over ( set toast to video input) and have the video files show up. Select one and then click on "export" on Toast and files will transfer. I set up a movie files folder in the finder before starting transferring files. The video files open in Quicktime so I am reasonably certain that they will pull into iMovie. Will continue to advise as I proceed. Very difficult and Sony or Apple should figure out a better working software config for their customer base.
