Warranty Honored
(Jeff - 8/8/07)I too had a problem with my Sony DCR-SR80, specifically the hard drive. Althoguh the tech support over the phone leaved a litle to be desired, I found that Sony did honor their warranty and I received my camcorder back in perfect condition with the files I thought I lost on DVD-Rs. Sony stillhas the best product on the market if you want quick, efficent video off an HDD device.
