How big of a Tv will this thing look good on?

OK i am having trouble, which HArd drive camcorder should i get:
Sony DCR-SR80 60GB ,
JVC Everio GZ-MG77 , or
Sony DCR SR100

Which one has better picture qualitty? I am leaning towrds the Sony DCR SR100 but i want to make sure it is the bang for my buck. Any help will help.

Out of all those, I'd eliminate the MG77. Reviews indicate the video quality isn't that hot, particularly when you shoot in wide screen which causes aspect ratio problems. As for either the SR80 or SR100, they SR100 has a better Chip, but the SR80 has a longer optical zoom. The SR100 gives you more megapixels and I think that trumps zoom capability.

And although I don't care for Sony as they tend to force you into proprietary solutions (I'm a Canon man) I'm inclined to agree with you, however, that the SR100 is a better choice.
