SONY DCR-SR80 Warranty

I own a SONY DCR-SR80 and after very little usage the charger went bad. I purchased another Sony battery and the charger was not able to charge it. The charger does not power up my camcorder. I contacted Sony and I got the worst service. I was told to mail the charger at my expense and I disagreed with that. I paid close to $800.00 for the Camcorder and was not going to spend any more money on something that the warranty should cover it. I sent in the charger at Sony's expense and I'm being told they have not received the charger I mailed it on 4/30/07 at UPS Drop Box and now today 05/08/07 they state they have not received it ! Sony has changed and they have lost me as a loyal customer.

If it's UPS? Then you have a tracking number. Find out if it was received and signed for. If they received it, it's on them. Go back to SONY and tell them they have it and chances are, you may be a new ac adapter out of it.

Thank You that is just what happen. However I will have to wait until next week to receive the charger. Sony has changed and it is for the worst.
