I am a girls basketball coach and want to video tape the game. I'm not sure if I should go with a hard drive or go with a mini-DVD. Please help!!!

I'm not sure if I should go Hard Drive or Mini-DVD!
Please help!!! I'm told the 60 minute Mini-DVD's are no good.
I will have two games to tape...a jv game and a varsity game.
I will then want to make a DVD of each game afterwards.

I'd only go with the mini-DVD if you don't want to edit the recorded video. The mini-DVD cameras write the video directly to DVD. You can't erase it or change it, but you can play it right away in a stand along DVD player if you want. The recording time is considerably less than 60 minutes if you use the high quality setting.

Go with the Hard drive based camera if you need a longer recording time. Plus it is a little easier to get the video off the camera into your computer if you want to edit it.
