Making HD DVD on HDR-SR5

Once HD DVD is made after downloading video to a handy-cam station with the HDR-SR5, can the HD DVD be played back on a HDTV using the SR5 on the handy-cam station connected to the HDTV via HDMI cable from the HDR-SR5?

Well, it should. That's usually a standard feature. You can also bypass the station entirely and just hook up the camera as long as you have the proper cables.

Hi,does anyone know if there is a firmwear update for HDR-SR5 since there is problems with auto focus, it takes long time time to focus and sometimes gets blur recording is it just this model in sony or any software has to be updated please let me know thanks.
