HOW CAN i MAKE A FIREWALL CONNECTION TO VIDEO STREAM TO PC

THE HDR SRI DOES NOT HAVE A I LINK CONNECTION DO YOU KNOW IF ANY CABLES EXIST TO DO THIS?

Well, that's only a real issue if you don't have USB 2.0, which SONY relies on now. Which is ironic considering that SONY first developed firewire and then abandoned it to MAC. Such is the fickle nature of SONY.

Another option may be the optical camera dock. I know that the dock for the HC96 has a fiewire connection through it. The dock for the SR-1 may have the same feature.

thanks James, but the sr-1 does not have a dock. I guess I cant have everything

Alas. But if you have a PC, you can still transfer with USB. If a MAC, I'm afraid you may be out of luck. Don'tcha just LOVE Sony?
