I lose my videos in PMB, it works for a couple of weeks, then it won't open and it just says cannot find media files referred to in the data base,why?

PMB has always been pretty buggy. It's a lousy utility that has managed to be the only option for most HD and flash based camcorders. About the only thing you can do is download and install the most recent update from Pixela which was supposed to address most of the bugs like this. You need to get it from Pixela, not Sony.
