9 and 10 Megapixel Digital Cameras

At DCHQ, we're really not sure why most cameras need such high resolution as 10 megapixels. These are mostly top-end cameras, and perhaps it's just that manufacturers make really great chips that they use in a lot of different cameras. For really large enlargements or digital zooming or cropping, extra megapixels can be helpful, but mostly, they just take up more space on your memory card. Then again, memory is cheap!
