Best use of my money
(JD Domingue - 3/14/09)This is my first DSLR, but it has lived up to EVERY expectation of mine. Probably my favorite feature is its capability of continuously shooting JPEGs infinitely on a fast enough SDHC card. the canon presets like standard, portrait, landscape, natural, etc are useful as well in coordination with the Canon Digital Professional software (a useful RAW editor).
Since buying the camera, I've gotten the 70-300mm lens by Canon as well as the 50mm f/1.4. This combination of lenses has given me the opportunity to shoot anything i want.
Now that the price is a little lower on this camera, I recommend anyone who wants an entry-level DSLR to get this camera. WAY worth the buckos.
