Fast ... Sharp ... Great Camera !!!

The focus is fast/sharp. Picture quality is excellent. My only complaint would be exposure. It has a tendency to slightly overexpose if not watched carefully and checked frequently. I am a nature photographer previously using 1v's and and professional glass. The conversion to the 1D Mark II-n was almost seamless as far as controls. Previous digital knowledge will help with transition to digital files. Make sure you have sufficient storage for files and filing system for retrieving them. I highly recommend this camera. It's already paid for itself in savings over shooting film in both dollars as well as a tremendous amount of time converting slides to digital format for fine art prints and publication. Digital is finally able to compete with film converted to digital through dedicated film scanners.
