Mostly, it's about rankings and the number of reviews it's received by users (which is only two). It doesn't necessarily mean that it's a bad camera (in fact, from the reviews I've read, it's one of the fastest SLRs ever), but that it is so new here that it really hasn't acheived a comprehensive ranking as of yet. It's kinda like a new song that debuts at 25 the first week. Nobody has really gotten their hands on it yet to really get to know it.
And I suspect that since Canon has changed just about everything with this model that people are a tad concerned with the unknown. But from the reviews & pictures I've seen with this camera, I'm pretty safe in assuming it won't remain at a C+ for very long.
It's a rockin' camera.
