d20 has been great! removed memory card yesterday and put another in and it felt like it wouldn't go in all the way and now it isn't taking pictures,

Will the original memory card go back in? If so, then I'd say you' have a bad second card. Perhaps the contacts have loosened or it's just flat out the wrong type. If even the old card won't go in, then you may have an internal problem. Try blowing out the cavity with canned air and then look inside it with a mini flash light to see if you can find any protrusions.

But if you can put the 1st card back in, then it tells me you're second card is just an albatros.
