I need to get a flash for my Canon 20D. Any suggestions?

I would reccomend a Canon Speedlite flash. I use one with my Canon DSLR with great success.

I have the Canon Speedlite as well. There are a few models. If you are going to shoot indoor events like wedding receptions or large interior spaces, I would pay the extra money for the 580 EX. I just bought it for my 20D and though it does have a lot of features, it is manageable and able to achieve just the right effects once you get the hang of it. It has more power and communicates with the 20D. It knows the sensor size and can insure proper WPB. Good luck.

this website has a good review over the different types of speedlites available. it gives a brief detail of a number of them but i myself was thinking of gettin the 580EX for my canon 20D because it has a lot of great features and its not that expensive. but check out the website. http://www.bobatkins.com/photography/eosfaq/ex_speedlites.html
