Can much Max Zoom can be optain with this one?

WOW! You want zoom? You will have it with this camera because it accepts all EF and EF-S Canon lenses which go up to 600mm with image stabilization. This compares to the super zoom point and shoot lens that starts at 35mm and goes to 18X. That is not to even suggest that an 18X P&S camera could come close to the 30D with a super zoom lens attached. They can not seriously be compared at all. Now, of course, I have limited my discussion to Canon lenses. If you really want to go wild, there are ways to use actual telescopes and attach SLR cameras and obtain massive zoom. Just for clarity I'll add that the typical zoom lens that comes with the "kit" 30D camera won't be over 135mm and maybe less. If you want zoom power and great pictures buy the Body Only option and add the zoom lens you want/need.
