Help me decide between canon eos 30d and pentax k10d.

I do a lot of low light photography and plan to use a sigma 24-70 f 2.8 ex df dg lens.

For comparison, you may want to check out this resource. It takes pictures with each and you can compare them side by side.

When looking at sample photos shot with both cameras, it seems to me that the EOS 30D gives a more natural image with better highlights and sharpness. Course, you lens may vary.

I have no idea about the Pentax, albeit early on I had two Pentax film SLRs. Without question I would go for the Canon 30D. Canon offers a variety of lenses that no other maker can offer. Nikon is moving up and so are others but Canon is still supreme there. I have been using Canon cameras for some time and you won't go wrong with the 30D.
