I recently purchased an EF 100-400mm lense and it does not work on auto focus on my Canon Rebel XSi. I wondered if the Canon 50D would work better.

I have sent the lense in for repairs, but it still is not operating properly on the XSi. Help.

This question has replies but the author has indicated the question is still not answered after a long time. Can you answer the question, or post a clarifying follow-up?

Everything I've read says that it does. Can you define what it means by "not working properly?" One thing you can try is to clean the lens contacts on both the camera and the lens. A pencil eraser works pretty well.
