Is it true you cannot adjust the ISO on this camera??

I read in another review that there isn't an adjustable ISO setting. If so, why??? How can such an expensive SLR camera not have adjustable ISO?

Where ever you read that they are clearly misinformed or talking about a different model because the Canon 5D has a ISO range of 50 - 3200, adjustable.

It is not true that you cannot Adjust the ISO on the 5d. On the top of the camera near the shutter release press the DRIVE-ISO button and use the back dial to change the ISO from 100-1600 in 1/3 stop increments (default) of by activating custom function 8 you can increas the ISO range from 50-3200 which ISO 50 will be displayed at L and ISO 3200 as L. However these are not true ISO settings, merely the camera software compensating but underexposing or overexposing the shot one stop.
