When I attempted to shoot video the first time it played back The next and following attempts the green light keeps blinking &freezes camera.

camera freezes when video record stopped.Green light blinks forever. Have to remove batteries to unfreeze. I just bought this refurb from dealer is it me or the camera?

Can you take out the card and play it on your PC? I'd take out the card and reset the camera. Update any firmware. One thing that may be happening is that the card you're using may also be too slow. A class 6 SD card will be fast enough to record, write and playback video.
