Well, it's only going to be about the quality of VHS at best. Picture quality will be better. It's important to understand that video in a digital still point and shoot camera is essentially a marketing feature designed to 1) give the user the illusion they're getting more bang for their buck 2) for capturing those kodak moments when your regular video camera isn't available.
As for cons, C'net seems to not like the limited shooting controls or the hit or miss performance.
