My new A2100 lost its image display. Appears to work, but does not due to no image - only snow. What's up?

It worked fine for a couple hundred pics. I adjusted the settings for the flash, etc. and the image went to snow.

Have you reset the camera? Also update the firmware. But I'm thinking that there's a CCD issue here and perhaps you should send it in for repair while your warranty is still in force. But don't lollygag, the clock is ticking.

I called Canon. Reset did not work. No firmware update available.
I sent it in for repair, as I have had it for 4 months. Will follow-up.

Canon returned it fixed within a week. The PCB assembly was replaced, and general tune-up.
Covered under warranty, and I hope it lasts, as it is a good camera.
