Battery thing is no big deal

It is true that it sucks up the battery quite fast, but that's because it's not designed to function on regular AA batteries... I use 4 NiMH Rechargeables, they'r enough for well over a 100 pictures, in a week's vacation i had to recharge them only once. However, it is a little slow while taking pictures with flash.
