This is my first digital camera. Overall images are good and sharp but optical zoom only 2.2x. Official website claims this camera only has 1 second shutter speed that's not very suitable to take long exposure. But reality, Canon A400 can make 6 seconds long exposure!!Go to firework scene and adjust the exposure. You can adjust the exposure speed from 1.6 second to maximum 6 seconds, try it!!~ 6 seconds long exposure help to get beautiful night scenes.
