great value canon

( - 3/2/05) I bought my a400 a month ago as a slightly smaller alternative to my larger Minolta Z1 (o.k. I wanted a change too!) I particularly like the quick change between metering choices and the spot metering mode in the right circumstances is very effective. This is a good all round digicam. Results are a little soft at times, but flattering. Only one problem. It will eat up duracells faster than you can breathe - so use re-rechargeables! Looks-wise, it looks smart in silver -A sort of combination of hi-tech and traditional.
