pic is over exposed taken on day w/ ambient light.. whats wrong and how can i repair it?

We cant took pic during daytime because it is overexposed leading into a too bright picture. we can only take pic on night time. what shall we do?

The last time the same thing happened to my pictures, I found out that it was the ISO setting that went wrong.

Instead of setting it to Auto, I left it at ISO 200 which was too much for a picture taken under the sun using my compact digital.

Re-setting the ISO to Auto finally returns everything to normal and I feel you can try the same and see if it works for you too.

no good... the problem remains... It is i'm sure an exposure problem, but can't do anything abt it, even resetting all functions doesnt help.
