i have purchased canon power shot A460 digital camera, for which i want to purchase the external memory card of 2GB.

1) Can i use the 2GB memory card to my canon A460 camera?
2) Also pls advise what is the maximum external memory space my camera can accommodate?

The A640 supports a maximum size (according to canon) of SD or SDHC of up to 2GB of memory. So yes, you can use the A460, and according to canon that is the largest memory card you can put into your camera.
